This November Bristol University students have the opportunity to enter Bristol’s very own cooking competition, going head to head to show off their culinary skills and win some fantastic prizes.
The Golden Egg Student Cook-off challenge will see successful applicants compete in a number of rounds ranging from cooking their signature dish, to rustling up a feast from a mystery box. It is free to enter for all Bristol Food Society members, and is helping to raise money for the Bristol Urological Institute (BUI).
Each round will take place in the professional kitchens at hosts The Devilled Egg Kitchen Academy, and contestants will be judged by some household names including Fiona Beckett (The Guardian), Xanthe Clay (The Telegraph) and food writer Genevieve Taylor. Prizes on offer include:
The grand final will take place on 27th November, with earlier rounds taking place in evenings throughout November.
