A nice quick review for this one – which sums up the nice quick meal I had when I went to Masa.
Our offices are on Baldwin Street in Bristol City Centre and Masa is literally just over the road – perfect for a lunchtime treat!
They offer an executive lunch menu which was great value, 2 courses plus miso soup for under £9 a head (you really cant go wrong)
Service was good – quick, polite and efficient, everything that you want from a quick lunchtime bite.
Food was good too – I went for mixed sushi rolls to start (good) and then Pork Katsu Don with ice (fried pork in breadcrumbs with katsu curry)
All in all everything was tasty, brilliant value and great service. Its lovely atmosphere in Masa, open and airy without being clinal – it all feels very modern and contemporary. I’m certainly keen to go back for full on conveyor belt sushi session and the Teppanyaki chefs (where you sit around teh chef’s hot plate whilst they cook.
A nice bite out and recommended – certainly for business lunches or a quick and casual dining experience.
