Next Friday 23rd November, the Devilled Egg Kitchen Academy is teaming up with the legendary wine and food writer Fiona Beckett to raise money for the Bristol Urological Institute. Fiona, who is the Guardian’s wine columnist amongst many other hats, is an expert when it comes to matching food and wine – see for yourself on one of her many websites, Matching Food & Wine.
This one-off event will kick off at 7pm, and will see six delicious cheeses matched with six carefully selected wines. You will find out why they match so perfectly from Fiona herself so you can always recreate and impress friends and family at home – the perfect Christmas party trick? We saw Fiona recently at a private event at the Dartmouth Food Festival and I am still craving the blue goats cheese and pudding wine combination that knocked our socks off. If you are a food and wine enthusiast then this is the night for you! Plus, all proceeds go directly to the BUI.
Tickets are priced at £45, and you can buy them through the Devilled Egg here, but book fast, these are sure to go quick!
